Festival of contact improvisation with strong focus on the practice of CI and the emerging questions. Its 6th edition is taking place 7.-16.9., with prefestival workshop 7.-10.9. and Festival 10.9.-16.9., with a possibility to attend one of the events or choose a package of the whole festival.
We will have a possibility to study with teachers Kirstie Simson ( USA, UK) and Sarantoula Sarantaki (Greece, DE).
The venue of the festival is a countryside farm house located in the middle of Czechia, approx. 3 hours from both Prague or Vienna, with a spacious studio with soft floor and windows into the green.
The size of the group is rather small for the festival, with 45 participants maximum, which offers a possibility of strong group connection and focus on dancing. Festival has a significant international vibe and is open welcoming to people of all gender identities, colours and age, for all levels of experience in CI or dance.
We offer delicious vegetarian diet with plenty of vegan options from mostly organic and/or locally sourced ingredients.
Options for accommodation are either inside in the dorms and rooms or outside in the your own tent, camper van.
The energy balance of the pre-festival workshop is 180 euro, just festival is 500 euro and the package of both is 605euro. We have several positions for work studies, if you are interested, let us know in the registration form.
